Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: SW, W Wind Stength: 10-22 + Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy, showers Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Not a brilliant session arrived at Brog about 11am after battling through
the all the sunday drivers out a day early cos its a bank holiday
weekend.
Wind was blowing about 10 mph so it was just sit and watch. Wind seemed to
pick up a bit so rigged up 8.5 on big techno and hit the water. Wind was
very marginal was on and off plane in and out of harness. Then as if by
magic the wind filled in and was nicely powered up then it drop off again
with the rain which had started. This pattern contiued all day the wind
would pick up just before the rain came so we all look for the darker
clouds that looked like rain then hit the water.
For the last half hour of the day the wind picked up quite a bit was quite
a handful on an 8.5 with hardly any downhall on it center of effort onthe
sail seamed to be all over the place was a bit of fun though done some
really nice gybes had some tacks where I was still planning when I can
stepped round the front of the board.
3 stars too many lulls in the wind for any more stars
